"QuickLoads" the original, DOS Update
CAUTION : DO NOT TRY TO UPDATE "QUICKLOADS
PRO" with this update.
DO NOT UPGRADE IF you have Windows XP or 2000. "Quickloads" is a
DOS based program and WILL NOT work on these operating systems no matter what
you do! You will need to update to our "Quickloads Pro" on CD to be
able to take advantage of these operating systems.
For identification, our new Quickloads Pro is on a CD, the older DOS based Quickloads
is on a 3 1/2 floppy disk.
This DOS "QuickLoads" program has been discontinued and is no
longer available for sale. These free updates are only available on this web
site via download.
All "QuickLoads" versions are "Y2K Ready"
including this one. You do not need to update any version to be "Y2K
Ready".
This update should only be used to update "Quickloads" the original
DOS programs whose last
five digits of there serial number are 11375 or less. If you have a
program whose serial number is higher than this, DO NOT INSTALL THIS UPDATE, it will be
older that the copy you currently have.
An example of a "Quickloads" serial number is QL-095726-12345, the red
is the number you need to include in the form below.
After you press "Submit" a window pops up asking what you want done with
the file, select "save to disk" to start the transfer process.
The update is provided as a compressed, self-extracting file. After downloading, move it
an empty directory and run the "dupdate1.exe" file to extract its contents.
Then, open the Readme.txt file in Notepad or another word processor for additional
information and installation instructions. Or call Paul Allen at technical support if you have a problem
